This is just the tip of our frustrations on having deplorable railway infrastructure in the Karnataka state. These are the tag lines that hog headlines in the newspaper every year after Railway Budget is presented. Is there any truth in it?

Though I'm restricting myself to Bangaluru urban instrastructure, I believe this might be applicable to most of Indian cities.

There is a separate department  in Karnataka government for town planning - Department of Town and Country planning - https://www.karnataka.gov....

JNURM Funds for Mysore

Hi,

I saw the MP Pratap simha post this morning, in which he says that central govt has released 12.5 cr for Mysore region to buy buses. I replayed to his post requesting to buy more of Hybrid buses than the diesel buses.

Its high time the Mysore or Bangalore Transportion dept buy more of hybrid buses to reduce the pollution.
