Normal Theatres Giving Way to Multiplexes - Is this a good sign?

Nowadays, normal movie theaters are disappearing, especially in MG Road - Cantonment area leading to multiplexes. These multiplexes are so expensive, it will create a lot of imbalance between the rich and the poor. Why countries like America has become so successful is that the gap between the rich and the poor is less since most of the things are affordable by a common man.

Bangalore rename : -ooru or -uru?

The renaming thing is almost done. Did you see the "official" spelling submitted to central govt for approval? It is Bengaluru, not Bengalooru. Shouldn't it be -ooru if one really wants all non native speakers to say it the right way?

Learning Kannada as a Non-Kannadiga

Deepa illustrates her plight of trying to learn to speak Kannada.

In spite of being willing to learn, she was mocked at and mostly was met by indifference.
