The picture below of a switch box at the 4th cross junction, RMV extn, Sadashivanagar (near Sri Mallikarjun Kharge's house), possibly of the high-mast lamp installation adjacent to it, was taken yesterday. It is right on the footpath, and at a level where even school children can readily access the open wires. And, that is a potential hazard, particularly in the current monsoon season.

The meet started shortly after 10AM at the senate hall of the prestigious Bangalore central collage premises. The organizers were seen giving final touches to the Auditorium when we entered the Auditorium at 10AM. The new government has lost no time in bringing back power to the ministers / itself.  The swiftness with which the following bills were passed is astonishing to say the least.  How activists (read lawyers filing PILs) have allowed these under the radar is a mystery.

The hall was full with a mix of young and not so young senior citizens. We could see many members of "AAm Admi". Initially there were three occupants on the dais. Ramesh the former Mayer. The current mayor joined later.

"Can't fix it if you can't measure it". That is what a lot of people say. There is a lot that gets measured by BBMP/BMTC/BWSSB/BESCOM/BDA etc. But we just don't get to see. Want GIS data used for creating masterplan to be public? Want to know the city's water consumption, and inflow from each source every day?
