The Union urban development ministry has pulled up the state government for failing to implement reforms it had agreed to bring in while receiving funds under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) for various developmental project in Bengaluru and Mysore.

We never seem to follow lanes or queues..even our RJ's for traffic updates use words like 'nuggisokke aagthillava'! (are you not able to squeeze throuhg?)

Need route info before Bus Day

This is from last weekend. Convinced my family to take a Vajra to go across town from Whitefield to Mahalakshmi Layout. I told them don't worry, there are buses (333Z, 335EP, 335T) that go in that direction. We decided we will leave around 10 AM.

Very interesting to note Om Prakash Agarwals introductory comments where he says - We are very good at putting standalone facilities but never have an integrated plan and connection with other related systems. Bangalore has been reliant on a one dimensional Bus system. This cannot scale.
