Sharing a video from India Economic Summit. Very interesting to note Om Prakash Agarwals introductory comments where he says - We are very good at putting standalone facilities but never have an integrated plan and connection with other related systems. Bangalore has been reliant on a one dimensional Bus system. This cannot scale. We need to look not just at putting up a metro but have to look at multiple modes like Circular rail, Commuter rail, Light Rail, BRTS, Feeder Bus etc.

Multimodal & Interconnecvity
Multimodal transport and interconnectivity comes off as key. Not standalone siloed transport system each doing its own thing.
