DGCA for Airlines!! Who will come for BMTC?

The latest news going on for past 2-3 days is the intervention of DGCA and slashing of the fares of the Airlines across the country - They have fixed the minimum and maximum fares that can be kept for the airlines for the distance

Better facilities for private run buses!

There is no denial that private bus service is being operated in Bengaluru and other places without having its own/leased infrastructure like Terminus or bus stops. As noted in the Imran_haq's ordeal in Kalasipalya, in absence of proper infrastructure, these buses are making use of the public spaces like Roads, gullys, playgrounds even making use of no parking spaces.

Not more auto's; instead, good shuttle bus services please!

Shortcut routes for Buses

 BMTC buses take the main roads whereas private transport takes the short cut routes wherever possible. This in comparison will increase the travel time of BMTC buses as against private transport making  private transport more attractive.

We often read announcements by the BMTC authorities that Bengaluru bus fleet is the largest in India or Asia. Where are the buses?

We all know that BMTC can't maintain a simple web site with details about their services and timings.

Is it possible to get an Excel sheet with all their routes and timings in regular intervals?

I remember seeing one before the first Bus Day. After that, I haven't seen an updated one.

Should we offer help in putting one together?
