PSA sir, 6.30 AM is a bit tight for me. Can we change to 7.30 AM please.
I hope there would be buses to take 7 AM. Or else, I will pick you and Naveen up at Airport Road, lets carpool.
Cars not allowed in Cubbon Park in mornings
Remember, private vehicles (cars) are not allowed inside Cubbon Park before 8 AM (unsure about exact time). This was a problem last time we met - no early morning buses, no car allowed inside.
Can we pick an alternate venue as well, for 7.30 AM?
6.30 - Too early
I too feel that 6.30AM is a wee bit too early. 7.30AM sounds better & convenient.
7:30 AM - Car Pool with SB and Naveen @ Airport Road
I was planning to use my car otherwise. I along with Naveen can join SB at old airport road near the fly over. Naveen you could leave u r car at my place.
Freedom Park??
We have lots of options for venue...
MG road ( MG Park & Kariappa Park ) is a good option in the city center.. Freedom Park is another option.
Irrespective of the location, I am taking a bus!!

A newer venue, unlike the routine Lalbagh /Cubbon park.

Sorry for my ignorance, but I really don't know where Freedon Park is.
7.30 am soudns better. I'd leave home at 6.45, can pick up 4 ppl onthe way at anywhere on airport road.

Freedom park is the old Central jail campus, which has been converted to a park recently.
This is on Sheshadri Road. Simplest route --> Come over to City Railway station (front entrance), from there take a right turn at the junction next to the station, go over the Ananda Rao circle flyover, travel about 300mts and you will find a large large board of the park on the right. Thats the entrance!!
There are shorter routes. Others on your car (now thats another advantage of car pooling!!) can guide you!!

The meeting was held at 6:30AM and the area close to Seshadri Road near majestic. Hence so many buses moving is not a surprise. Many buses to majestic start their schedule by around 5:15-5:30AM and the night services end their services by around 6:30AM(4:15-6:15 in the morning generally). Many IT sector volvoes too start their schedules by 5:30AM and the most surprising thing is that they will be generally full at that time itself. Only the general shift buses start late with their schedules at 7:30AM. Even at 10PM U can expect to find these many buses from majestic.
I think night services are not available to Shivajinagar,market and ring road though buses to market and on ring road start at 5:00-5:15. Shivajinagar being a commercial area buses start a bit late around 6:00-6:30AM.
