Could someone clarify if there is a flyover planned at the NGEF turnoff point on the OMRoad ? If yes, what stage is it at ? Planning; Proposal; Approved; Tendering etc ? Hopefully with a BMTC and KSRTC bus terminals and Metro terminus there, where thousands of passengers and commuters will be accessing them, sense prevails on the designers; engineers; consultants and approvers to provide proper pedestrial walk paths to get cross roads at flyovers.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
I have received information from a resident in Sadhanandan Nagar (NGEF Layout) that an alternative route is being prepared at the old Police Station (next to old petrol bunk) which will have a flyover section across the rail way track and continue further to connect with Railway Parallel Road leading to Kalyan Nagar.
The present railway over bridge will be closed and will form part of the Terminus/Night Parking Yard for the Metro.
Also, the magic box at Tin Factory/RMZ looks suspiciously like an exit ramp leading away from the Byppanahalli Flyover. If so, commuters from Ramamurthy Nagar may not have to go all the way to Krishnarajpuram and take a u turn under the cable stayed bridge in order to reach Bangalore City.
