Praja Suddi - Inaugural Issue

Last Saturday some enthusiastic folks decided to check out the new commuter rail service between Yesthwantpur and Hosur. IDS (idontspam), silkboard, murali772, naveen and manjari managed to do something that most Bangaloreans find near impossible – they got up early on a weekend (!) - and hitched a train ride from CRS to Hosur (they went to Tamil Nadu!). Along the lines of Bus Day, where citizen groups and volunteers support BMTC in executing a real on-ground event, will Bengaluru Traffic Police be game to lead us for a "Traffic Enforcement Day"?

Bangalore Water Index

Lots has been moving on the water index front. The BWI team has come up with a proposal to the BWSSB that can be accessed here. See a detailed list of parameters BWI plans to track here.
The project members are meeting a lot of experts and gathering a lot of interesting information and ALL of it can be accessed here. Come be a part of this really exciting project.

RTI Club

The RTI Club is an attempt to 'assembly line' the RTI filing process and provide support to projects and campaigns hosted on Praja in a cause-agnostic way. Projects can create an "RTI request", and the club will help file them.
