OMR road exits and entry

One thing that is conspicuously missing is the connectivity to the OMR..we all know its a wide road there..close to 4 lanes each way and theres heavy traffic there. The best way is to have uhindered graceful entry and exit ramps to the road where the left turning traffic merges seemlessly and the right turing would use a underpass to enter the station..

It would be a shame to build a big train station and have a traffic jam in front of it all the time..

Understand this is not BMRCL problem..but they or other authorities should manage this as it can pose unending traffic problems if left un attended!

Good Thought

I think it's a very valid point - they will need to plan for this soon, as also at all important node stations along both lines. Access to & from the Parking lots, especially the larger Car Parks will start becoming difficult on the streets due to conflicts at turn-offs to various stations.

Our planners, all the time wait for a problem to occur & then try to seek a solution. Foreseeing problems & addressing them before hand is not in our nature, I guess !

Here is how the Byappanahall station will look like according to the BMRCL website.
It doesn't say who architected it and probably serves the purpose at a lesser cost compared to the MG Road, Indiranagar stations.
