PPP of politics

After Public Private Participation PPP the Politics Personalities Parties PPP discussed in an earlier thread was interesting. I am with the “Prajagalu” as far as the abysmal speed with which things are progressing in our country’s politics as much we would like it in a hurry.

Traffic Cops Charging too much eh??

I have seen many people often caught by the Bangalore's traffic police. If this is the same case all you guys experience, then here are some important things you need to know when it comes to traffic fines.

I came, I saw, I am Flabbergasted

Came to Bangaluru after living in US for several years and I was shocked to see that the Bangaluru traffic has gone from bad to worse. In a way, I am happy! Ok, Ok let me explain. You see, with my MS engineering degree from US and working in US in various industries for several years, I have knowledge and experience to find simple solutions to the transportation problems. Bu

What is the next scheduled event on Praja's interaction with BTRAC officials?

Bengaluru is in the threshold of becoming a megapolis but it is not able to handle the ever increasing road traffic. The infrastructure is just not sufficient to handle the unprecedented growth in the number of vehicles on road. I would like to participate in issues related to improving traffic management in Bengaluru city.

Sumanahalli Flyover and the Outer `Ring' Road.

About a week ago the CM inagurated the Sumanahalli flyover, which is a fancy name for the overbridge over Magadi Road on the Outer Ring Road. This leads to a new part of the ring road which is supposed to make the Outer Ring road more of a ring than it currently is.

Are two wheelers exempt from traffic rules ?

Hi I've noticed that increasingly two wheelers - essentially motorcycles violate all possible traffic rules. This afternoon I was walking back along 17th Cross road, Malleswaram, which is a one way. A motorcycle rider was about to enter the road and I stopped him, informing him that it is a one way. He said he had to deliver some flowers, so it was okay for him to go that way.

Bumpy roads of Bangalore - Road Humps the back breakers not speed breakers.

Maybe this has been discussed earlier.

I am appalled by the state of Bangalore roads of late. Day by day there are more road humps added to the streets without any thought on the inconvenience it causes to the riders/drivers.

Kodigehalli Level Crossing - Politics First, citizens later

Strange are our public representatives and more strange are their political ways. In every act of their's is motivated first by their politics, party and their personal interests.

Pay-and-park put on hold

Contradictory views and ambiguity shroud many developmental projects. While the agencies and stakeholders continue to dream big, at the end of the day, the projects seem to be just a pipedream. Plans have been made for many multi-storeyed parking plazas and at least 100 on-street parking lots, but the parking policy for the city is itself not clear.
