Is HOHO experiment being dropped???

On my daily commute today, i observed 2 orange line buses being run with route  number as 333P......
Is this the end of HOHO service??  Was it intended by design to fail by using high end volvos?  Why not contine HOHO services with suvarna type of buses??.... I happy that atleast BIG 10 is a succes to a great extent....

Big10 , MBS and Circular Bus Routes for Mysore

Mysore city bus routes are very old fashioned and Mysore Division is not taking any pain to change the routing structure.  For example to get around to neighbouring areas, you do not have direct access to buses. For example Kuvempunagar to Vidyaranyapuram. One has to all the way upto CBS or Siddapajji Sqauare atleast, change the bus and then reach Kuvempunagar which easily takes 1 hour+.

Bangalore in Fifties and Sixties was still a Pensioners’ Paradise and very much a sleepy town. It was mostly divided into City and Cantonment with Basavanagudi and Malleshwaram well known among its residential areas. Jaya Nagar or its famous mosquitoes had not made their debut yet.
