Memo to Minister of State for railways

Sanjeev, Ritesh & myself went to the office of the Minister of State for Railways, Shri KH Muniyappa and submitted a memorandum to the Officer on Special Duty there. Have scheduled a meeting with the minister on 27th of the month after he is free from campaigning for the local elections that are on. See acknowledged memorandum below.

Chikkabullapur has its share of pride for being the neighbouring district of the Union Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa’s home constituency, Kolar.

station doesn’t have basic facilities such as drinking water and toilet. Several inter-state trains pass through the station which houses not a single shop to serve coffee or eatables

Bangalore to Whitefield on Pushpulls

Though my office is in Electronic City, for a new project I had to visit our company's branch office in GRTechPark, Whitefield for 3 days. This building is next to ITPL. I had to take public transport on all 3 days to reach the office in the afternoons while the drop back home would be provided on the company cab as it would be late in the night.

I had met DRM for 15 Minites at his office last week on 12th Nov to get the update on the Commuter Rail. He is very positive on the issue.

MMTS services of Hyderabad has doing great improvements, you can see here how the services have been improved over the last few months. For Bangalore & its suburbs Commuter Rail is still distant dream unless we push our Politicians hard either BJP / Congress

Karnataka high-speed rail plan hits legal roadblock

A high-speed rail link (HSRL) project connecting Bangalore to its new international airport, proposed at a cost of Rs 6,000 crore and intended to reduce commuting time from the present one hour to 20 minutes, has hit speed breakers over the legal framework the project is to be implemented under.

Railways eyes land swap with BBMP

Sources in the Railways told Deccan Herald that if the deal goes through, the service yard/line in the City station, along with the coach yard near platforms 4 and 10 will be shifted making room for more platforms.
