SWABHIMANA  and  PRAJA  are planning to bring together citizens ,stake holders and elected representatives on a common platform to discuss pedestrian related problems in different areas of Bengaluru

At last realization has dawn on BMTC for rationalization of its routes!

At last, a better sense and realization has dawned on BMTC to start thinking of rationalizing its routes and aligning it with the Metro network. In any problem-fixing situation, the realization and accepting that there is a problem that exist itself is a half the battle. Now the BMTC needs to fight the other half of the battle of planning and executing the plan for route rationalization.

Alternative to Tree 'Cutting'

We see a lot of discussion these days about this tree 'choping' business. If us, and our beloved civic agencies are really that concerned about them, why can't we look at the alternatives. How about 'moving / relocating' them instead?

Praja meet to plan pedestrianization project

Let us make use of election day holiday to plan next steps on pedestrianization project. Refer back to recent discussions on pedestrianization possibilities for Commercial Street and Brigade Road stretch. Looks like there is enough interest and enough legs available to take this forward from mere discussion.

Roads in Nagarbhavi layout

Nagarbhavi layout is an old BDA layout. Except few blocks almost all blocks have large population. After forming the Nagarbhavi layout it seems this area is completly neglected by BDA and now by BBMP. Roads are in very bad shape. Recently only few main roads are tarred. It is very difficult to use vehicles on this roads.
