'Take the Bus' Campaign in News Media

As expected, slowly 'Take the Bus' campaign is getting highlighted in News media. In coming days we will see more coverage in mainstream media. BMTC sources inform that there are plans for publicity via radio as well. Watch out then for Bus day news in the papers.

Exploitation of mineral wealth

Jeffrey Lee in Australia is sitting on Uranium deosits which can provide 'clean' energy to the entire country for decades together and beyond. But, he is not interested in selling out even if it will make him amongst the richest men in the world (check this report in Daily Good).

What would be or is the one reason for you to say 'NO' to BMTC Bus for daily commute?

Whitefield TTMC - work in full swing

I passed by the Whitefield TTMC, which is located near the Vaidehi hospital within the EPIP Industrial zone.  Construction is ongoing, in full swing.  Once again, I cannot help being disappointed at the choice of location of this TTMC.  This is in the middle of an Industrial zone.  All the residential areas are well removed from here.

Lakes of Bangalore - My contribution

This is my initiative to understand the current state of all lakes in bangalore. I think this year 2010, i will visit each lake and get the photos of them and post in a blog. This we can use it in our future references.

Somehow I feel that the lakes in bangalore are dwindling and I am not doing anything about it. This is my attempt towards it.
