The first phase of the Sompura Industrial Estate which has come up on 800 acres, at Nidvanda, in Thyamgondulu village. Near Dobaspet another 400 acres will shortly be acquired. Nidvanda village has a good railway station, but the problem is that only passenger trains like the Bangalore-Tumkur push pull and a few other trains stop here. Their timings are also not helpful to those traveling to this area.

Industrial Hub at Nidvanda
I was travelling back to Bangalore this morning from Tumkur, then observed the Industrial belt at Nidvanda.
Its massive Industiry hub is coming up, most of the companies are giving final shape to the Factories at Nidavanda. Station is across the road from Industrial Hub. So people need to travell from Tumkur and Bangalore to this area. This hub needs good Commuter Rail connectivity similar to Dodballapur, Bidadi, Chandapur, Malur, ITBP.
Then only the planned Industrial hubs will attract quality work force at affordable salary.
