Hello Everyone

Due to a last minute summons by GoK for a meeting, the folks at BIAL have requested for the delay of the program to the 24th of March. Same date, same location.

For registration please e-mail Prithvi K.K. at Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce prithvi@bcic.org.in.

I am trying to make this program more focussed to industry, so participation and inputs from SCM gurus will be welcome. There have been some very positive developments on the cargo side over the last few months, and more are to come.

These are not necessarily around the logistics industry

a. What has been done to ensure that the MERU and EASY cabs drive safely?

b. Has basic training been given to them to e.g. not horn unnecessarily after picking up passengers, stop for people crossing rather than drive at them and honk?

c. Why is UDF not being collected by the airlines.  Those ad-hoc counters look disgraceful.

d. What is their latest consensus traffic projection till 2014/2015?

e. Are they fully involved in the HSRL discussion?  What will be the impact of the CAT on their commercial ventures?  Do  they foresee huge issues with any legal actions from the current concessionaires?

Srivathsa

Drive safe.  It is not just the car maker which can recall its product.
