Water is elixir of life - Those handling water are only trustees

Dear All,

Have a look at the following cut and paste from Deccan Herald dated 22-5-2013.

Mammoth bungling BBMP style

Everything else

BBMP seems to be bereft of all hopes measuring up to its calling. They outsource the work of salary disbursing to Keonics without crediting any funds.

Governance

"Can't fix it if you can't measure it". That is what a lot of people say. There is a lot that gets measured by BBMP/BMTC/BWSSB/BESCOM/BDA etc. But we just don't get to see. First hearing in the High Court - June 3

3 Jun 2013 09:30
Asia/Calcutta

Just marking the date. June 3. First hearing in the High Court on this PIL.

We are not sure how many people can actually join in at the court. Need to check with the lawyer if 10-12 of us can join in. But if you are interested to attend, please do leave a comment here. One of us will respond on how many can come.

Watch this post for more details on this first hearing.

Mis-carriage of criminal justice

In the midst of the recent Karnataka assembly election campaigning, a member of a certain popular yahoo-group suddenly came up with a posting that Dr Ashwin Mahesh, the LokSatta candidate from Bommanahalli constituency, has a criminal record.

Revisit Bicycling enablement approach?
