Folks, I wonder if some of Mr. Chari's comments on this thread here are flirting with the fine line between posting information and promoting the technology he is marketing. It would be good for the readers and site moderators/owners to take a call on this. The posting guidelines for Praja says this- Content: Write on matters that need public attention or are of relevance to citizens of an area. No personal propaganda, promoting businesses, movie reviews or pop culture. There are tons of people writing on those. While I really appreciate learning about Mr.Chari's technology and his input in some of these forums, it is important also for Praja to not appear as a space for discussing commercial interests. If tomorrow, some people with Praja have the opportunity to provide input to a public body (say BWSSB) and they adopt Mr. Chari's technology, even the appearance of impropriety can hurt. Just my thoughts. Call to action is this: There is a need for a clear policy and on who will "police" this. Hoping this thread will help reach a decision? @RKC - I just want to flag an issue, please do not take this as a personal accusation

Moderation on Praja
Sanjay,
thanks for this. As praja grows, no doubt we will see more issues like this. Instead of admins taking a call on what goes and what not, I think the decision should be made by the community.
Shekhar Mittal and I are currently working on launching a moderation system on Praja and hope to have it live in next few hours. Keep watching the front page for the announcement. We hope that the new system will help Praja members to remove content which they think is not fit for Praja.
We would love to hear your and everyone else's views on the moderation system.
UPDATED: The system is now launched. See this post for details.
