We all are looking for answer to one question. How can BMTC make the Bus Day a better success? The success being large numbers taking the bus on Bus day? Praja survey and poll has already given the answers to this question. One important factor that is eluding the Bus Day is, TRUST from citizens of Namma Bengaluru.

BTRAC-2010, does the phrase ring a bell? It is a Rs 350 crore (max) worth project funded 2006 through 2010 to reduce congestion and better manage traffic in the city.

Compound wall crack due to neighbour' s borewell digging - issued resolved

Crack in the compound wall issue seems to be resolved, temporarily.

Other RTI + Lok Ayuktha files, will have be be followed up in due course.

Another huge grey area seems to be that very few citizens are aware of permissions that are / are not needed before a borewell can be sunk. The 'consultant's digging the borewell of course make all the rules up...!

UG NS Stretch - Proposed: 14, Possession Taken: 8, Demolished: 7

UG EW Stretch - Proposed: 129, Possession Taken:0 (!), Demolished: 0 (!).

Rail Budget 2010-11 from the outset looks good for Karnataka, its  good job done by Mamtha & K H Muniyappa as Window Dressing for Karnataka. PPP model is no finalised & will require Cabinet approval, so nothing will come in next 1-2 years on this.

A new DPR for monorail - when?

Refer to the proceeds of this BMLTA meeting. Go to section 6/7 - there is no mention of Scomi/Geodesic. Why would IDD again prepare the DPR if Geodesic already submitted one? Different alignment?
