I do not see ny where much thrust given for the Suburban Rail and even other modes of Transport by GOI except for the Buses and METRO.

I agree with Dinesh Mohan in the Hindu. Its not about all the fancy projects ike Signal free roads, under/overpasses, Metro, Bus or even the Commuter Rail. Any transport starts with having safe, navigable, well lit surface streets for NMT & MT. If we cant do this then everything else is moot.
