I agree
Writing on behalf of the moderators to respond to KRV's reminder about our comment guidelines.
Some recent discussions have indeed been violating comment guidelines. Emotion driven flame wars like these are only going to kill this forum which was created to be reasonable, constructive, collaborative and different. On requests from several members, we have closed both those threads that have gone beyond reasonable arguments and discussions.
Authors are encouraged to go back edit their own comments, if you feel you broke the decorum or crossed that thin line and used foul language or unsubstantiated personal attacks, please do some self moderation. On behalf of moderators and admins, let me remind all that nobody works fulltime here to moderate or administer Praja website. Please respect everyone's time and stick to the moderation guidelines so that we can keep the site open to all.
On a personal note, I will certainly like to meet KRV to know more about them and their work in the area of Urban Infrastructure and Governance. Any help towards arranging this meeting is most welcome.
Flag etc.
Nevertheless I was happy to note that the website which started this debate - bengaluruvedike.com - has removed the flag from their site. Regardless of whether KRV is good or bad I think the point remains that their flag on the bengaluruvedike website was inappropriate.

Agree with that too
Avoiding them is not the best way to deal with issues that do exist. Growth and development while preserving local cultural identity in an acceptable way is an issue close to many people's heart. But, unfortunately, its hard to debate on this topic without getting drawn into non-reasonable, unnecessary or inflammatory arguments. So how do we get constructive on these emotive subjects? How about::
I hope I provided an idea of my thoughts on what would be constructive and analytical ways of talking on these subjects. In outcome focused way of thinking, discussing KRV in itself is not as important as discussing the issues (at face value) that these outfits stand up for. Hope this website will attract some more folks who'd be willing to educate us on the subject.
PS: don't mean to launch yet another discussion here, please create new forum post if you want to.
sure we can have fact based discussions

[There are plenty of places on Internet to discuss political, regional or ideological organizations. This is not a forum or bulletin board for flame wars. Please keep the discussions focused on the issues and your ideas on solving them. As for organizations, we prefer focusing on government or public sector organizations and tracking their work - moderators.]
