Paying your domestic help, BMTC strike, and the minimum wage scandal

A question for you. Did you give your domestic help(s) a day off on Gandhi Jayanti? If not, then did you give them (domestic help, apartment security, etc) double the usual pay for working on a National Holiday?

Bengaluru Commuter Rail - Facts and Figures

Many have asked about handy fact sheet for Bengaluru comuter rail service. Though the same was provided in the FAQs - Bengaluru Commuter Rail Service and other CRS information brochures. Still a One-Pager was preferred over multiple page brochures. Here is the one page CRS Fact sheet.

Honk/Horn Language Proposal for Federal Union of India

After practising driving for more than 15 years and experimenting with DD, I feel honking is part of life, though I use this "feature" sparingly. While it takes roughly between 3 to 4 hours by road depending upon the time and traffic, train takes between 2 to 3 hours even with the tracks being only partially doubled. So the need of the hour is to fast track the doubling and electrification of this section to bring down the travel time between 1&1/2 to 2 hours.

Why is the link to "code of conduct" on the CREDAI site not functional?

The CREDAI, Bangalore (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India) site is accessible here. Listed amongst various links on it is one on "code of conduct". But, if you click on it, it just takes you in circles.
