People in Administration

The quality of people in the public sphere is very low. They are from an archiac system which lay emphasis on defensive administration instead of providing leadership in taking the city and country forward. These people are not going away they are only shunted around the govt agencies. The visionaries in administration are very few.

Online RTI

A newspaper article mentions availability of online RTI filing at http://www.rtination.com/. Just FYI for those who may not be aware. Haven't researched yet to see if it is applicable in all states nor know how effective it is.

Wastage of JNNURM funds for City Busstand Rennovation?

I just read through Star of Mysore that money spent for City Bus Stand is just a waste. There is nothing new with the building. Praja members of Mysore if can take pictures of the spot and post on the site would be very helpful.

The   name Kukkanahalli Kere  at once brings in the names of R.K Narayan and KUVEMPU  who spent their evenings watching the sunset  while writing some of their best literary works. Thousands of strollers over generations have enjoyed the serene beauty of the lake having their walk around the lake and improved their health.
