The Hindu reports that "Commuter rail service for city still in limbo":

BANGALORE: The proposed commuter rail or circular rail for Bangalore, aimed at decongesting the roads as well as offering speedy journey to harried motorists, appears to be in limbo with the State Government and the Ministry of Railways toeing different lines.

Reduced traffic signal timings near Mekhri Circle for vehicles coming from Jayamahal Road

For the past 15 days for vehicles coming from Jayamahal Road, the timings in the traffic signal near Mekhri signal has been drastically reduced. Earlier, we could cross the signal in 5 minutes maximum but from the past 15 days it is taking between 12 to 15 minutes.

Many people who use the BTM stretch of the Outer RING RD face daily traffic jam for about one hour or so. The place am taking is between UDUPI GARDEN to SILK Board signal. The same in reverse direction. But the trouble is more in former.

CRS meeting with RS DyChmn Rahman Khan on 29th Jan

Myself, Naveen & Sanjeev met with Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Shri Rahman Khan. The meeting was arranged by Shri Maqbool Siraj via Syed. He grasped the concept & subject very well since he has been talking about similar initiatives for a long time. He also understood the need very well and we didn't have to convince him on the concept at all.
