This is to update on the progress of ESAF in creating awareness and celebration of the same on account of International Car Free Day which falls on 22nd Sept. As this year we found more like minded people who are interested for the program, we have scheduled programs for 2 weeks.

How a Russian city got its politicians to do their work

The video clip, linked below, shows how a Russian city managed to get the powers that be of the city to do their work. Can we possibly make such an approach work in Namma Bengaluru? Or, are our politicians too thick-skinned compared to those in Russia, or elsewhere? May be worth finding out.

BMTC Strike - what have we learnt?

Public Transport in Bangalore today means Bus which is solely run by BMTC. During business as usual this looks good but its in crisis situations like todays strike that the deficit of not investing in multiple modes or using modern methodologies of running operations can hurt.
