Now it is expected that Railway Overbridge at Kadugodi will be completed soon. It is the time to think about extension of Volvo bus service at least upto Safal Market as lot of residential layout are upcoming in this stretch. Kadugodi bus stand can be relocated somewhere near Safal Market where the land prices are definitely cheaper as compared to the existing location of bus stand.

Safal market closer to OMR
Safal market is much closer to Old Madras rd. Thus, buses presently terminating at KR Puram can be extended upto Safal market rather than extending all buses proceeding on Varthur rd, past Kadugodi to Safal market (the distance becomes too large).
Some services may be extended from both sides, ie. buses plying on OMR can come upto Kadugodi & few from Varthur rd can go past Kadugodi up to Safal market to provide easy connectivity both ways.
Good idea, should be done
Services should extend beyond Kadugodi depot/stand, as that has become a big residential area.
Let us forward this request to BMTC CTMO, I think this should be easy enough to do.
