Large Tract of Green Land Waiting to be saved from being gobbled up
At the entrance to Vidyaranyapura, adjacent to Nanjappa Circle, near Chamundeshwari Layout in Doddabommasandra, there is a large green tract of land with a small lake like water body; the pics are given below
If I am correct, this area extends almost from a boundary of Vidyaranyapura to the road leading to Devanahalli Airport ad may occupy a few tens of acres.
I only hope that I am correct in stating that no land mafia or some other agency has yet set eyes on this oasis of greenery.
My open request to like minded Praja Members is to swing into immediate & proper action and make sure that it is used as lung space for Bangaoreans, by developeing it into a good recreational park and to totally prevent it from being gobbled up by land sharks or being used for some commercial purpose by some agency

But this is the vidyaranyapura lake and was once filled with water till the road, even upto as late as the 90's. It has been allowed to die so land mafia can gobble it up, like what happened to chickmaranahalli lake. Well actually that was worse, the devasandra/chickmaranahalli lake was alive when it was destroyed.
