Yatha Praja....

 While I was travelling to Electronic City I witnessed this scene in BMTC bus. Suddenly I recalled praja.in,  where I read "Yatha Praja Tatha Raja". I had neither any comments nor any solution except I alerted conductor. The "gentleman" corrected himself after two warnings from conductor.

Is Monorail still on for Bangalore ?

This report in DH states that the Scomi Engineering /Geodesic Techiques tie up is pitching for Bangalore Monorail on BOT basis (build, own, transfer), whose first phase of execution will see $2.4 billion investment.

Non-disconnected Ring Road Routes

There has been a lot of topics going on regarding the disconnected Ring Road routes of Bangalore and problem in changing buses. But it is not the ordinary bus users but generally Volvo bus users who face this problem.

Ring Road is not actually disconnected. Following routes imply it:

A DH article dated 19-Nov-2009 stated that Metro Phase-2 would have two routes: one from Kathriguppe to ITPL, & the other from IIM-B to Nagawara.

Vajra route - Magadi Road to MG Road?

 I am a regular commuter of bmtc from magadi road. I am travelling 5 hours to and fro to reach my office in mg road. I would like better commuting facilities from bmtc. i would like you to initiate volvo bus service upto janapriya township.

Please ensure smooth flow of traffic from majestic to janapriya township.

 

Bus Day Corridors Route Map and Bus List

Here is the route map showing different BMTC routes leading to ITPL and Electronic City. For now only Vajra, Vayu Vajra and BIG-10 routes on these corridors are shown. Soon will provide information on other BMTC services including oridinary service also.
