Hi Prajas, with the increase in number of vehicles plying on the road, it is becoming very difficult for people of all age groups to walk safely on the road. Congestion, whilst speeding vehices at times no traffic sense is adding woes to the pedestrian. Another thing that has gone un-noticed is that the head-lights of vehicles are run with high-beams.

The transport minister has come out with a mega proposal for Bangalore.

This is really an excellent news. Made my day. The 2 crore allocation in meager, but nevertheless, a good start.

Large Tract of Green Land Waiting to be saved from being gobbled up

 A 100 feet road through the GKVK will eat away precious green land used for research and hosting many plants and trees. A peaceful suburn will now be swamped by cars and traffic. A University will now have to function with a road running through it.
