@ Pranav

I am confirming and will make myself free in the afternoon.

Thanks Pranav for the effort in organising as I had lost the hope  for meeting  on CRS with Mr V Madhu

Finally we have meeting with Mr V Madhu.

We need  to prepare the specific points  for the CRS progress. Already in RTI thread, we have the points,   and need to add few more points  so that we get the clear picture on the CRS.

@IDS & Srinidhi, Muralidhar sir  & others interested  and propogating CRS, kindly make it for the meeting so that  Govt & IDD  take the issue of CRS seriously.

Would have liked to join

This could be an important meeting since Mr Madhu is the boss for IDD, which makes most decisions relating to urban transport, not to mention other urban infrastructural issues.

I would have liked very much to join, but since I am currently overseas, I will be missing this event.

All the best to participants that attend the meet.

Will join. Anyone for car pool? I'll leave Koramangala around 2.15PM, and head towards Vikas Soudha via Games Village, Vellara jn, SBI, Koshy's, GPO. I can go via Domlur instead, if anyone wants a pick up near Shantisagar. Alternatively, anyone coming up Airport (old) road, can pick me up from Shantisagar, in which case, I'll leave my vehicle in Domlur.

2. HSRL / Metro Debate to BIAL - Any final decision taken.

Vasanth, Srinidhi - Sanjeev and I organized this meeting to talk Commuter Rail as part of our CSR lobby project. HSRL, Metro etc are related. But I would use the time in the meeting only for Commuter Rail questions.

If guys need updates on HSRL etc, please think of organizing a separate meeting. Or just drop an email to IDD, they should be in a position to reply.

See you al at 3 pm.

Saw the tender ad - it said that the tender document would be available on http://www.idd.kar.nic.in/ on the 20th. I was hoping to find details of which route was getting tendered but I couldn't find it on the website. Does anyone have a direct link ?

IDS,, Silkboard, Muralidhar Rao,

Could not make it as other meeting got delayed.  How was the meeting,  does IDD is taking the CRS seriously.  Ealrier  had posted couple of  emails to Bangalore South MP Mr Ananth Kumar  and finally  got call   to meet him on  20th at 11:30.  But could meet him only at 3PM after waiting for 3 Hrs, hence could not make it for IDD meet. Submitted the same files in print which were uploaded in Praja and explained him aboout confusion of Commuter Rail / Local Train with  Circular Rail. Also explained why is such delay in getting sanction from Railway Minister for Local Trains.

Then he  planned for ABIDe meeting  exclusivily  for Local Trains project  with Railway Minister, Chief Minister,  IDD,  BDA, BMTC, Railway officals within next 2-3 weeks. Their is going to be presentaion on the Local Train Project. We need to provide the presentatin with details.

How we should go about this &  with IDD meet.

Draft CRS presentation

I have mailed the draft of the presentation on CRS to Pranav, since he was in touch with you yesterday, let us discuss this Saturday on the sidelines of the meeting with Mr Sood.

I am also planning a report to be submitted to IDD based on which a pre-feasibility report can be commissioned. Some options were discussed with Mr Madhu, we will need to meet for that separately and discuss.

Since this may lead to railways throwing PPP open for suburban railways in some form or another and we will need Ananth Kumar & the likes pushing for this as well in Delhi.

had a good meeting

Let us write our meeting reports (V Madhu, and Anant Kumar) in a separate post.

Let us meet on Saturday around the Praveen Sood meeting and plan the presentation.

Madhu will also hold additional charge as Principal Secretary, Infrastructure Development Department.

So still  he is incharge with IDD, so we should submit our CRS report  at the earliest to him and get his feedback for final submission to IDD before further any changes.
