Experience of A Visit to Big Bazaar @ Malleswaram

Big Bazaar has opened its shop at the old geethanjali theatre complex.....even tough is good for shopping and shopping experience for the malleswaram residents, it is come with lots of nightmare to the public. Few of them i noticed with one visit this weekend are :-

By the way guys, saw ads in papers saying that CAG is conducting a performance audit on the subject of Water Pollution and that if we want to draw attention of CAG to any particular instance of water pollution, we can reach them at their email/fax. See details in the ad image below.

Commuter Rail - Will it ever materialize ?

Most of us are aware that the CTTP-2007 report had recommended a Commuter /Sub-urban rail system for the city, totalling 204.0km (this includes city & suburban services upto Tumkur, Hosur & Ramanagaram). A few sub-urban trains are in operation & are being run by Southwestern railways (SWR), but the system is not of much help to urban commuters.

Silkboard (Pranav), Vinod, Sri, Mr Ananthram, Mr Pathy, Srivatsava, Raghunandana, myself & few others met at Freedom park earlier toady - wish many others could have made it too (apologies to those that did attend, but whose names I have missed out).

Amongst various discussions, it was emphasized that priority was needed for meetings with BMTC & BMRCL to discuss issues.
