Yet, traffic policemen on the spot led by Siddarame Gowda and Shiva Kumar got the road cleared within no time. In the meantime, flight tickets were rescheduled to the 8:15 am Jet Lite flight. And, Mr Gowda arrived in time and took off at the scheduled hour." But even before he set foot in New Delhi, the traffic snarl had triggered off an upheaval of sorts back in Bangalore. Acting with an unnerving alacrity, the State Government has recommended the suspension of Peenya traffic inspector Siddarame Gowda and Soladevanhalli traffic sub-inspector Shiva Kumar for the traffic snarl. Siddarame Gowda and Shivakumar were given a dressing down by the higher-ups.
