Politics

Seems quite amazing that since 2 1/2 years and even before the Govt has sunk in land scams and we all knew this from the politicians affidavits in elections but the lid was blown by the former CM and political opponents and RTI activists.

Using alternate routes

BusPublic Transport

Having used BMTC for almost a decade, learnt many interesting experiences. To reach a place we generally prefer to travel by the shorter route and if possible direct bus. But shorter route/direct route  may not always be the faster route, and if involves changing buses might be expensive too.

Economy

Since I read almost all editorials carried by Business Standard, read their (Mr T N Ninnan's?) take today on Tata's Rs 15 cr remark as well. To quote the editorial:

Mr. Tata has neither been brave nor has he served the cause of good governance. His tangential remarks this week ... make him look smaller.

BusPublic Transport

When I went to school in the late 80’s and early 90’s, we enjoyed taking the double Decker bus number 134 to Ulsoor from Shivajinagar. I know there were other routes like 131 and 150. BTS became BMTC and soon the double Decker buses became history and faded away from the roads and our memory.
