Bangalore - Governance Reforms

Growth pains of Bangalore lead to demands for urban governance reforms to bring more local participation and autonomy to the urban area referred to as the Bangalore Metropolitan Region. Expanding BMP to Bruhat BMP via bringing adjoining CMCs within the fold of this Bangalore MEtropolitan Region was the first step.

User Experience Design Proposal for Praja

 

Praja is an excellent initiative and has made quite an impact already. However, I think the user experience is a little lacking in terms of navigability and organization. These are my views on an alternative structure for the website.

BIAL RTI Project

Late in 2008, several Praja members got together to file a series of RTI (Right to Information) applications to get information about Bangalore International Airport project executed by BIAL. The objectives were to find out how some decisions about the airport were made, when they were made, and the changes seen by concession agreement or land use plans.
