The Indian Institute for Human Settlements [www.iihs.ac.in] announces an Institute on 'Re-Imagining the World-Class City' at Bengaluru from the 3rd to the 9th of January 2011.

This week-long initiative will bring together theoretical debates and existing practices, enabling an interdisciplinary exploration of the systems, processes and values that drive the development of cities. The Institute will be conducted by an inter-disciplinary Indian and international faculty of academics and practitioners for the selected 40 applicants. Applicants should either have completed or be currently pursuing  a Bachelors or Masters programme in any discipline. The Institute is also open to professionals from relevant fields.
