Hi Guys, I am not sure, when the next railway budget is (I believe it is going to be held in the month of February), but thought of what the state of Karnataka can really expect from this budget with K.H Muniyappa out of the railways ministry... I intend to write a list of trains, projects which I feel are necessary for our state and hopefully at least some of them would be fulfilled in the upcoming budget. The list of trains goes as follows:

Vasco - Yeshwantpur express from bi-weekly to daily

Yeshwantpur - Karwar express from tri-weekly to daily

Mysore - Mumbai Sharavati express from weekly to daily

Mysore - H. Nizamuddin Swarna Jayanti express from weekly to daily (as these 2 trains are beneficial to the people of North Karnataka as well)

Yeshwantpur - Solapur express via Gulbarga from tri-weekly to daily

(I stop here as I am unable to think of other trains. I urge people to add in their priorities)

Railway lines :

Bangalore - Hassan

Kadur - Chikmagalur line to be extended to either Sakleshpur or Hassan so that trains from Mysore to N. Karnataka can use the same

Bidar - Gulbarga

Bangalore - Mysore doubling

Dharwad - Belgaum

Whitefield - Kolar

Chikballapur - Satya Sai Nilayam
