LDA is back - Madivala lake and others

Who is actually responsible for upkeep of Bangalore's lakes? Answer may go like this - some lakes LDA, rest of them BWSSB. Refer late last year's news articles - lakes were transferred from LDA to BWSSB. But this was done only for some (17 or 18) lakes. To remind us all that they are around, LDA has floated work for rejuvenating 3 lakes.

"Preparation of DPR for cleaning, rejuvenation and development of the following lakes:Unit-2: Kaggadasapura, Madivala and Garvebhavi Palya Lakes, Bangalore (3 lakes)".

Phrase "Unit 2" there told me that there may have been a "Unit 1". So I headed to LDA website (ldakarnataka.co.in). They have a new looking tenders page, but this is the only tender up there right now. No progress report or update on "Unit 1".
