The CM's brief tour of the city on Monday affected the top officials' plans to cycle to work. But DC P S Vastrad, who has initiated it, managed to pedal to work even as he managed to adhere to protocol requiring him to tail the CM traveling in his official car.

This is the right time to build pressure on Govt / Railways to implement the CRS ASAP. First in these efforts is to conduct  CRS awareness campaign in B'lore and all teh CRS coverage area. Let us plan and oragnize few meets at Tumkur, Ramangaram, ITPL, EC, Hosur, Bangarper, Malur, Chikballapur, Dodballapur, Kengeri etc.

Transformers are indispensible in power distribution to minimize transmission power loss. We encounter Besom Transformers at every nook and corner in Bangalore streets. Some of the transformers being currently used are huge and occupy lot of foot path space. These are barricaded for general safety.

Time now for the final push to CRS train. Otherwise it may be left standing where it was before Praja's Namma Raiu campaign. This time a lot has been done at government level with RITES doing a technical report and GOK, SWR showing considerable interest in it.
