Does it make sense?

From recent Praja discussions and meetings with Mr Sood, it is clear that Police have only so much say - so many areas are beyond their jurisdiction.

Why would we have police officers visit Singapore? To get trained.... On what?

> We don't have our roads planned right - but it is for BBMP to worry about

> foot paths - BBMP

> public transport - BMTC

> We don't have a running metro yet - but it is for BMRL to think

> interconnections between modes of transport - BBMP/BMTC/BMRL/BIAL/GOK - heck, who knos?

> quantum of traffic flow - ?? - but not Police

> proper driver testing and licensing - RTO

So, what would the police do? Write a report on what they saw?

If that is what they want, they can have Indian Consulate do this for them, right? Why have 37 officers travel? We might even have a Praja member in Singapore who might want to do this at his / her spare time for free!
