Removed the tag 'English' since the default will be English anyway and having too many tags might not be good.

When posting, Kannada can be selected for the language tag if required.

Tracking pages

Vadi has done some nice work on Tracking pages with tabs and all. Updated the Metro and Airport pages. Changed the content on tracking page from full view to teaser view.

More cities

Added few more cities to the 'Primary City' selection box in the registration form. That way we know how many users are from different places and when we try launching new city sites, will know who will be already there.

Tracking page updates

Reworked some Tracking pages - updated queries for feed from Google News and Blog Search. You wont see duplicates on BIAL news feeds. More relevant items for Satellite Towns and Metro - new comment view for Satellite Towns. I am thinking we might as well call this "Greater Bangalore"

Anon users must leave contact info

Changed the comment setting to 'anonymous users must leave their contact information'.

That way people can still post anonymously and get updates on further posts on the thread through e-mail.

Change in tagging

Introduced some changes into the tagging system.

"Projects" category was getting cluttered with free tagging so cleated a new category called 'Tags' that can be used to tag content freely. Project tag will only have relevant projects as choices.

Some tagging from pervious posts might be lost. Please re-tag your posts if you see there is a lot missing.

disabled anonymous comments

Our site has been under spam attack for a few days now. We are working on a spam filter solution. Till we figure things out, comments are disabled for non-registered users. If you can't wait, and must leave a comment, please consider registering here. BTW, want to re-affirm that your personal details you leave here at the time of registration is not exposed anywhere on this site. We will be publishing a privacy notice pretty soon.

was playing with options when some more spam came in. should be okay now, only register users can leave spam. Will try akismet once, though I have heard it slows down commenting process.
