My letter to the ministry of railways

Hi friends,

I have sent out an e-mail to the ministry of railways asking them for trains which I felt are the need of the hour for Bangalore and Karnataka. A copy of the same is here:

Respected Sir,
 
I am pleased to note that you are doing your best to save the great Indian railways from going bankrupt. You definitely deserve to be congratulated for having initiated a step that was due since long.

 I request you to include the following passenger train services in the upcoming railway budget. These services have been long overdue and have the potential to provide a boost to the revenue of the railways. Also, while services to some of the cities in North India are available from places such as Trivandrum that is much smaller than Bangalore and has a lesser population, Bangalore and Karnataka have been deprived of these services since long. Some of them are:
 
Bangalore - Amritsar superfast express via Gulbarga, New Delhi

Bangalore - Kalka superfast express via Gulbarga, New Delhi

Bangalore - Varanasi express

Bangalore - Bikaner express

Bangalore - Jammu express

Bangalore - Mumbai superfast express via Hubli, Madgaon and Panvel

Bangalore - Dehradun express

Bangalore -  Karwar express via Hubli and Madgaon

Mangalore - Chennai express via Hassan and Bangalore, overnight

Mangalore - Secunderabad express via Hassan and Bangalore, overnight

Bangalore - Chikmagalur express

Bangalore - Belgaum intercity express

Bidar - Chamarajanagr express via Bangalore and Mysore

Mysore - Bijapur express
 
Mysore - Chikmagalur express
 
Belgaum - Chikmagalur express

Mangalore - Bijapur express via Madgaon and Hubli

Mysore - Secunderabad express and
 
 
Bangalore - Mumbai Duronto

Bangalore - Hyderabad Duronto
 
Commuter rail for Bangalore
 

Creation of new divisions in Mangalore and Gulbarga and inclusion of both under South Western Railway


 
These are only some of the trains that need to be introduced in the state of Karnataka, that has been deprived of adequate train services since long. Kindly include as many as possible in the forthcoming budget.
