Ten steps to change Bangalore - From Mohandas Pai

There are five important roads in the city which must be made larger. The side roads leading up to them must be cut. These corridors are:

1. Malleswaram-Tumkur/Peenya Road. 2.MG Road-Whitefield 3.Windsor Manor-Mehkri Circle-Airport Road. 4.Hosur Road-Brigade Road. 5.Bannerghatta Road-Kanakapura Road And extend NICE roads to airport

What do Praja think of the list?

DEMU Services and MEMU Services(Local Trains)like in other metros running at short frequency between whitefield and ramanagaram.Anekal to Yelehenka  with stops at prominent places will aid in lesser traffic on road.Good connectivity/Faster ticket issual at railway stationsand good connectivity  to the railway stations through buses and parking spaces are the key to bangalore's traffic solutions

CRS again

CRS like you hacve so rightly suggested has been a critical piece we are missing in the transport policy. We have to make these lines count for something. If we have trains every 10 mins to whitefield, anekal, yelahanka, it would be such a useful thing to have. Metro can connect to CRS also then.

I dont know if the recent upgrade of switching in the city railway station helped release some bandwidth for trails.
