"There is no proposal to demolish or alter Balabrooie. The discussion to have a legislators' club on the lines of the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi has been going on for 10 years. The government has not taken any decision yet on where to have it,'' Siddaramaiah told STOI.

Late night public transport- Does it mean our city is safer for women?

A city with a population of over a crore needs a transport system round the clock. Unfortunately, this legitimate demand of citizens seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Even the much touted Bangalore Metro system shuts it services at 10:00 PM. This is unlike DMRC whose services run till 11:00 PM.

Caught between BBMP and BWSSB

Please have a look at the above picture. The house is situataed in ward number 193. There is no water connection provided by BWSSB in the area. Hence BWSSB calims this is out of their jurisdiction.

Coming to the issue I'm facing (Mine is the only house on this stretch of the raod)
