To days TOI has reported the recognition accorded by US-Based National Science Foundation (NFS) for the following institutions in India:-
1. National Center for Biological Sciences (NCBS)
2. Indian Institute of Science
3. Indian Institute for Information Technology
There are other six Institutes names not mentioned in the TOI report are ranked in the NFS list world wide. We have the distinction of having the number 2 and 3 in Bangalore.
