Finally 58 Kms of Metro from Silk Board -KR Puram-Hebbal-Airport was approved on 20th April 2021 after delay of many years at the estimated cost of Rs 14000 Crore.  we can expect this line to be ready after 6-7 years from now if every thing goes smooth.  cost may escalate to 30000 Crore.

The Supreme Court order last week which quashed a January 2000 order of the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh providing 100% reservation to Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates for the post of teachers in schools in the scheduled areas of the state is a reaffirmation of the 50% ceiling principle laid down by the court for reservations.
