I was at a presentation on the subject of 'Public Policy on Water supply for the Bangalore Metrolpolitan Region' by Sri V Balasubramanian, IAS retd (former Addl Chief Secretary, GoK), under the auspices of the Karnataka Regional chapter of the Indian Institute of Public Administration, last week.

800 -  900 LD of water pupmed to Bangalore from Caveri river and transported over 100 Kms along with other water sources of 250 MLD apart from the borewell run with tankers. 

This is apart fro what Bangalore  receives rain all 12 months which no other Big city in India receives.

The water works in Mysore is working according tn the newly elected corporators. It is not supplying water according to the essential of people. The problem is always and more during summer. And if asked the authorities say that its common and give neglect answer. If we ask for alternative arrangements they say bring area corporator. Why is this.
