Digging of roads and improper patch up

The roads in Whitefield-ITPL area were in reasonably good condition after the last asphalting and periodic maintenance works. However the good conditioned roads were spoiled by the pits digged (and left without properly filling/repairing) for laying pipe conduits (for fiber cable ?) underground.

BBMP elections, Outer ring road and Flyovers Underpasses

It seems the Rs 300 crs needed for 10 underpasses to raise money for which GoK formed a Land corp (sell encroached recovered Govt lands and was unsuccessful) in Oct 2008 has suddenly become 450 crs now to be used for 8 flyovers.

Roads in Nagarbhavi layout

Nagarbhavi layout is an old BDA layout. Except few blocks almost all blocks have large population. After forming the Nagarbhavi layout it seems this area is completly neglected by BDA and now by BBMP. Roads are in very bad shape. Recently only few main roads are tarred. It is very difficult to use vehicles on this roads.

Hi, In addition to the numerous problems we already have on road and road works in Bangalore. I wanted to bring attention to the huge amount of mud and sand scattered on all roads in Bangalore. we have encountered numerous speed breakers across the city roads, most of them not being painted which results in serious accidents and damage to the riders. painting the speed breakers and installing signs of warning at a distance safe to break will avoid many accidents and injuries. especially duirng night time unpainted speedbreakers are silent killers.

Flyover on Outer Ring Road - Details?

This is my first post on Praja. Does anybody have the plans / designs for the Flyovers that are being built and designs being planned to make the Outer Ring Road "Signal Free"? The current ring road is not very well designed and I am very curious to know what the news plans are and if there was a way to make it better. How does one get hold of such a plan?
