Segregation at source saves all the worries

The BBMP team will  essentially be talking about the new system of garbage management.

Solid Waste should be segregated mainly into three groups.

1.       Bio Degradable [Wet]

2.       Non- Degradable [Dry]

3.       Hazardous. Includes:-

a.       Batteries

b.       Florescent tubes

c.        Paints, solvents, insecticides and their containers

d.       Syringes, needles, Thermometers

e.       E-Waste [Computer parts]

Garbage needs to be segregated in separate containers as and when generated. This is the only efficient way to do it.  [Imagine segregating mixed garbage]
