Bangalore Cycle Day

Cycle Day LogoWelcome to the alternate home page of Cycle Day, a campaign to increase usage of green, sustainable and non motorized mode of mobility called cycling in the City of Bengaluru!

The campaign kicked off on October 27 as we seeded a monthly event called "Feel Bengaluru Cycle Day". A big thank you for showing up, the city noted 1100+ of us at Cubbon Park on Oct 27. Up next are the Feel Bengaluru Cycle Day events for November and December. We will keep this page updated with the details of monthly events, and any other initiatives as they get planned and get underway.

Meanwhile, you can help us out in one of the following ways:

  • Most important - show up along with your cycle for the monthly event, last Sunday of every month
  • Join our Facebook page to keep in touch, or share your pictures from cycle day events
  • Help spread the word through Facebook or Join the conversation on twitter at #blrcycleday!
  • Spread the word in your neighborhood, apartment complex etc, get more people to join in on the monthly events. Easy to remember, last Sunday of every month, and details always available here and on the main page: www.facebook.com/blrcycleday

Want to go one step further!? This campaign is being run by a diverse group of Bengaluru residents from various cycling and sustainable transportation NGOs, as well as government organizations like DULT, BMTC, BMRCL and more. Everyone is welcome to join in and help!
